So Many New Layouts for SuzyQ Scraps!!

Boy, I'm getting a ton of scrapping done with SuzyQ Scraps summer team.  Everything from holiday pages for Christmas and Halloween to baby pictures and trips to the beach.  Here's what I've done in the last 2 weeks....

All Together Now by Kellybell Designs

Meeting the characters at Disney World is an absolute blast! The hugs, the smiles, the autographs.... it's all part of the magic! Here's what I scrapped with 'All Together Now'.  I loved the papers for Minnie Mouse.  My favorite is the red and white polka dot paper.  The colors and elements were a perfect match for Minnie.

Then I flipped the template and made the second page to match Mickey Mouse!

Template #44 and Mousescrappers Template Challenge #45!

I know, I know.... it's been over a month since I've given away a freebie template.  I've been doing tons of scrapping but not making any templates.  Sigh!  Luckily, my template mojo has returned from it's summer vacation and we are back in business!  Yipee for you! 

First we'll start off with Template #44.  This was from the Mousescrappers 2nd Anniversary challenges.  I really wanted to have some vertical paper blocks on the page.  Especially for scrapping my layout at Chef Mickeys.  I just love red and black papers!

Next, I'm hosting the Mousescrappers Template Challenge today.  Mousescrappers has a new template challenge starting every Saturday!  Lately I've seen so many layouts that have split papers that are angled and zig zagged.  So I knew that's the kind of template I wanted to have for the challenge.  This is the layout I made for Morroco.  Natalie's paper textures were fabulous and the slanted papers were a fabulous way to show off her elegant paper patterns.

While this kit was designed with Nemo in mind, it's such a versatile kit that you can use over and over again. Here is my layout.  We finally got the courage up to go on the Jaws ride at Universal in June.  The huge shark is awesome when it lunges at the tour boat.  And the picture spot in front of the ride is the best photo op!

Destination Fun by Wimpychompers Creations

Summer is in fun swing now.  Is it too hot for you?  Every day it's 100 degrees here in Austin - yikes!  Makes me dream about visiting some tropical destination, or taking a Caribbean cruise, or maybe just diving into the ocean. If only we could just hop on the airplane now!  All of those tropical dreams are captured in Christina's newest kit called 'Destination Fun'.

Christina's got a bunch of fabulous new textures and colored papers in this kit.  The yellow starburst paper is to die for!!  And she's included some ultra cool tropical elements like palm trees, sand castle, palm frawns, cruise ship, sunglasses, lounge chair, coconut shell drink, camera, suitcases and more.  All fabulous for packing up and jetting off to some island destination.

This was a Maui sunset photo from one of our Spring Break vacations.  Sure wish I could be on that beach right now!

A Kit For Morroco

A Whole New World.... That's the theme for Natalie's newest kit.  With inspiration from Morocco and the Aladdin movie, this kit is deep in colors and textures!  Natalie is famous for her fabulous selection of papers in each kit, and this one is one of my newest favorites!  She's filled this kit with some Moroccan buildings, scarves, fez, tamborine, genie lamp, peacock feathers and much more.  You gotta see this kit!

Summer Vacation by Natalie's Place Designs!

Natalie's got another gorgeous kit for you today called 'Summer Vacation'.  It's filled with bright colors and adorable summer elements.  Phineas and Ferb were the inspiration for this new kit.  The shark surf board really rocks!  It's perfect for outdoor fun, popsicle parties and just hanging out for the summer.  Take a look at this fun kit!

In June, we got to meet Phineas and Ferb at their brand new meet-and-greet location.  They had a cute little music show to keep you occupied while waiting in line.  The characters were pretty cool.  They played guitar for a while!  The background was neat too.
