Layouts For Natalie's Place Designs Monochromatic Series

Natalie's Place Designs offers 3 kits in her monochromatic series - teal, magenta and indigo.  The papers in these kits are amazingly colorful and fun to stack and cluster.  I made a layout for the teal and magenta kits outlining the story of Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty.  The colors are just stunning.  Here is the first one called 'Touch of Teal'.

The second one is called 'Magic of Magenta'.

And lastly, the kit called 'Inspired by Indigo' which was released last week.

Kellybell Designs Announces Happily Ever After

Kellybell Designs has a wonderful new kit today called 'Happily Ever After'.  It's perfect for all your princess pages!!  With plenty of yellow and pink papers, you can scrap lots of fun vacation pages with it.  I just loved the sweet pastel colors.  Here are the layouts I created.

Mousescrappers Speed Scrap Marathon Layouts

Last Saturday and Sunday was the Speed Scrap Marathon at Mousescrappers.  Five layouts each day, so that meant scrapping from early morning to late night.  I did all 5 speed scraps on Saturday, then 3 of them on Sunday.  I missed the early ones because we were at church and our family lunch (so I think that's a good excuse not to be scrapping!!).  The marathon was a TON of fun.  Some of the instructions were easy and then a few instructions were pretty hard.  I learned a few new techniques, like making a photo sepia color.  Carol, one of the hosts, shared with us a color wheel for selecting complimentary colors.  Check out that website HERE.  The participation prizes were awesome, can't wait to start using them.

Scrappin' Miss Daisy by Natalie's Place Designs

Isn't pink such a fun, girly color??  Wouldn't you just love the spend the day shopping with Daisy Duck??  Pretty silly question, huh?  Daisy Duck happens to be one of my 2 favorite characters (the other one is Minnie Mouse).  Today, Natalie's Place Designs is releasing her newest kit called Scrappin' Miss Daisy.  It's just adorable filled with pink and purple papers, beautiful daisy flowers and sweet ribbons.  Take a look:

Simple Dates From Kellybell Designs

How many times have you needed to put a date on your layout but you can't find a good disney-type date??  Well, fear not, Kellybell Designs is releasing 2 kits today that have some wonderful dates and stamps to use on your layouts.  They're called Simple Dates Volume 1 and Simple Dates Volume 2.  These kits are so flexible and can be customized however you need.

Inspired by Indigo from Natalie's Place Designs

Don't let the blues get you down!!  This kit will have you singing the blues (and the purples) in a happy and magical way!!  It's new from Natalie's Place Designs called 'Inspired By Indigo'.  This kit is part of her monochromatic series of kits.  First was 'The Magic of Magenta' and then 'A Touch of Teal'.  They're beautiful kits focusing on a color pattern.  This kit has fabulous purple and blue papers to mix and layer.  It's so lovely, take a look...

Natalie's kits and freebies can be found HERE on her blog.  I can't get enough of these papers, so I really loved layering and stacking all the papers together. They coordinated together very nicely. I thought these colors would work great for our Photopass photo shoot at the Grand Floridian. It was October and I was hoping to get some good pictures of my boys. Meaning they were both looking at the camera and smiling at the same time (very hard for 2 young boys!!). We got some great photos that day and I did use one of the photos for our Christmas card, so that made me thrilled. Here is my layout.  Handsome little devils, aren't they??

So for your freebie today, I included the word art for our Grand Floridian photo shoot, hopefully a few of you can use it. And I made an Epcot word art, which everyone can make use of. Natalie's alpha is just lovely and such a deep shade of indigo, too. Enjoy!

Some Challenge Layouts

This week, I had time to make a few layouts.  Mousescrappers had a speed scrap on Monday afternoon.  Here's what I was able to create in those 4 hours:

I love templates!!  So I grabbed some July templates from the Scrapmatters Tuesday Template Challenges and got in 2 layouts.

If you love Disney and you love speed scraps, then you need to fasten your seat belts because there is a Mousescrappers Speed Scrap Marathon this weekend on Saturday 7/24 and Sunday 7/25.  Five speed scraps each day with wonderful participation prizes and grab bag prizes.  Mark your calendars!

Introducing Acorn Club From Natalie's Place Designs

Don't you just love Chip and Dale??  They are the silliest!  And now you'll have the perfect kit for scrapping your character meet and greets with those fuzzy chipmunks.  Today Natalie's Place Designs is releasing a new kit called 'Acorn Club'.  Of course it's full of acorns, twigs, leaves and lots of rich brown, green and yellow papers.  Take a look:

Mousescrapper Challenges & Template Freebie #3

I finally got a few layouts done for Mousescrappers challenges.  There's a wonderful multi-picture layout template from RuthieRoo which I used to make this layout for the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It Street Party.

Then for the weekly challenge, you needed inspiration from the Captain EO show at Epcot.  Since it was produced by George Lucas, I was inspired to scrap a layout of Chewbacca and the Ewoks.

Now onto another template freebie for you.  Most of my pictures are in the 'portrait' mode, so I need a template with many photos to support that.  Here's the layout I used to create this template.
