New Paper Stacks From Kellybell Designs

Kelly's got a bunch of new paper stacks to share with you today.  She's completing some of her earlier collections that were first introduced with page starters last year.  Today she's adding paper stacks for All Together Now, Belle Of The Ball and Hooray For Hollywood.  These clustered and layered papers make a great base to start your Disney layouts.

These 3 paper stacks packs will be on sale this weekend on for 25% off at www.KellybellDesigns.com.  Make sure to grab them now to save money.

Here's a page I made super quick with the paper stacks.  I used one of my freebie templates as a base and placed the paper stack behind it.  So easy!

Hopefully you had fun last weekend celebrating National Scrapbooking Day and collecting Kelly's freebie kit 'Top Dog' and following the CT Resort Word Art Blog Train.  Have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome To The Jungle

Natalie has gone all wild and tribal on us today.  She's introducing a new collection called 'Welcome To The Jungle'.  It's a very sleek and sophisticated safari collection with deep dark colors.  Inside you'll find 25 papers (8 solid and 17 patterned), 10 flowers, 8 leaf elements, 12 ribbons, 2 ricracs, a rafia strand, 2 strings, 3 frames, 6 flairs, 2 feathers, 2 bows, 3 borders, a bunting, 3 stitches, 4 word tags, binoculars, a lion, a giraffe, an elephant, 2 animal masks, a mesh overlay, 3 glitter scatters, a sequin scatter, a drum, 2 spears (1 piercing), a tree, a spiraled cord, a drum, 3 flourishes, 8 jungle elements and 3 alphas.

If you like premade word art title, Natalie has created 2 packs for you.

Then of course there's the paper stacks and page starters.  Natalie has a special way of layering lots of papers together with interesting angles and stackings.

You can also purchase a set of brushes/stamps.  All of Natalie's collection can be found HERE at her blog store.

Here's what I created with this collection.  This first one was made with a paper stack, a clustered frame from the page starters pack and a word art title.  I added in another cluster in the top right corner.  So easy to scrap this page.

And here's my second layout showing off the gorillas.  We're taking a trip to see the San Diego Zoo in June and I'm so excited that I can use this kit over and over again to scrap all those animal photos I'll be taking.

For my freebie today, I made you a set of 5 journal cards.  Hope you like them!  You can also find a freebie at Cynthia's Blog and Lisa's Blog.

Kellybell Designs May Blog Challenge

Wow, what a busy weekend this is!  So much going on for National Scrapbook Day and now it's the first Sunday of the month and time to update the Kellybell Designs Blog Challenge.  This month's theme is all about animals.  And what perfect timing... you can use Kelly's free NSD kit called 'Top Dog' to create your layout this month.

Here's the participation prize you'll receive this month for playing along.  It's 2 word art titles made by CT Member Linda.  Everyone who submits a layout will receive a participation prize.  And the most outstanding layout will receive a gift certificate to Kelly's store.

Here are the rules and instruction to participation in the Monthly Blog Challenge:
  • Scrap a page showcasing animal fun. This can be anything from Disney's Animal Kingdom park (rides, shows, characters, scenery), animal rides like Jungle Cruise and Dumbo, animals around the parks and resorts, or even meeting a character that's an animal (Baloo, Pluto, Marie).
  • You can use as many photos as you want and include as many elements and papers that you choose.  We want to see your creativity sparkle!
  • Layouts should be made with 100% Kellybell products or freebies (you are allowed to use a template from another designer).  You are welcome to submit more than 1 layout.
  • Post your layout into the Challenges Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST May 31st.  Participation prizes will be sent to the email address you have listed with Kelly's gallery.
The most outstanding layout will be announced the first week of June.  That's also when the participation prizes will be sent out.

Take a look at these kits below that might be helpful for scrapping your challenge layout.

You can find lots of inspiration at Kelly's Blog to give you some ideas of what to scrap for this challenge.  Here's my animal layout showing off the Festival of The Lion King show.
